His Word is Truth

Unadulterated Biblical Truth

The Law  Scripture Collection

This section is for compiling the scriptures relating to the Law of YHWH and us obeying it.

This is 1 of my 1st projects ever, as I unknowingly started this in my notes I was taking as I read the Bible for the 1st time and made it a point to write a line about interesting verses or those that may have benefit for others.

I went through my entire note-book and filled this page out as a database at the start of this website.

This page is under construction and does not contain every possible scripture in the Bible that supports the keeping of the Law.
 This collection does not even house all of the examples contained on this website's other pages, yet.

Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments and shall teach others to do the same,  shall be called the least in the kingdom of the heavens, but whosoever shall do and teach them the same, shall be called great in the kingdom of the heavens"

Matthew 5:17 "Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets, I have not come to abolish, but to fulfill"

Luke 16:19 "There was a certain rich man which was clothed in purple and fine linen and rejoiced luxuriously every day, and there was a certain beggar named Lazarus which laid at his gate full of sores and desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich mans table, moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
And it came to pass that the beggar died and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom, the rich man also died and was buried and in Hell he lift up his eyes being in torment and he seen Abraham far off and Lazarus the beggar in his bosom and he cried out and said, Father Abraham have mercy on me and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue for I am tormented in this flame.
But Abraham said, Son remember that you in your lifetime received your good things and likewise Lazarus evil things, but now he is comforted and you are tormented, and beside all of this, between us is a great impassable chasm fixed so that those who would pass from us to you can not do it,
neither can they pass from you to us.
Then the rich man said, I beg you father Abraham that you would send Lazarus to my fathers house for I have 5 brothers that he may protest strongly to them for fear they also come into this place of torment.
Then Abraham said unto the rich man, They have Moses and the Prophets, let your brothers hear them. Then the rich man said, no father Abraham but if one went unto them from the dead they would repent.
And Abraham replied back, If they hear not Moses and the Prophets, they would not be persuaded even though one rose from the dead"

Matthew 19:16 "And behold, one came and said to
Yahushua, good lord what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life? And he said to him, why call me good? There is none good but one, that is Elohim, but if you will enter into eternal life, keep the commandments"

Luke 10:25 "And behold, a certain lawyer stood up and tempted him saying, Master what shall I do to inherit eternal life? He said to him, What is written in the Law? How read you? And he answering said, You shall love
YHWH your Elohim with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself. And he said to him, You have answered correctly, do this and you will live”

Matthew 24:20 "So when you see the abomination of desolation spoken of by the prophet Daniel standing in the holy place (let the reader understand), then let those who are in Yahuda flee to the mountains, Let the one who is on the housetop not go down to take what is in his house, and let the one who is in the field not turn back to take his cloak. And woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! Pray that your flight may not be in winter or on a Sabbath. For then there will be great tribulation such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be"

Revelation 22:14 "Blessed are those that do his commandments so that they may have the right to the tree of life"

Matthew 7:21 "Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, will enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but those that does the will of my Father that is in the heavens. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name? And in your name cast out demons? And in your name done many wonderful works? And then will I say to them, I never knew you, depart from me you that work Lawlessness"

Matthew 13:36 "Then
Yahushua sent the multitude away and went into the house, and his disciples came to him saying, explain to us the parable of the weeds of the field. Yahushua answered, The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man, the field is the world, and the good seed is the sons of the kingdom, the weeds are the sons of the evil one, and the enemy who sowed them is the Satan, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels. Just as the weeds are gathered and burned with fire, so will it be at the end of the age. The Son of Man will send his angels and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin, and those who practice lawlessness, and throw them into the furnace of fire. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear"

Refined down from the above.

Matthew 13:41 "The Son of Man will send his angels and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin, and those who practice lawlessness, and throw them into the furnace of fire.
In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear"

Matthew 13:41 "The Son of Man will send his angels and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin, and those who practice lawlessness, and throw them into the furnace of fire"

Messiah's words show that the opposite of righteous is Lawlessness;
Matthew 23:27 "Woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs, which outwardly appear beautiful, but within are full of dead people’s bones and all uncleanness, So you also outwardly appear righteous to others, but within you are full of hypocrisy and Lawlessness"

Matthew 5:20 "For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of the heavens"

2 Peter 3:15 "Even as our beloved Brother Paul, also according to the wisdom given unto him has written to you as also in all of his letters speaking in them of these things which are some hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable twist as they do also the other scriptures to their own destruction. You therefore beloved seeing you know these things before hand, beware, for fear you also are led away with the error of the Lawless and fall from your own steadfastness"

Matthew 15:2 "Why do your disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? For they wash not their hands when they eat bread, But
Yahushua answered and said to them, Why do you also transgress the commandments of Elohim by your tradition?"

Mark 7:8 "You leave the commandments of Elohim and hold to the tradition of men”

John 14:15 "If you love me, keep my commandments"

Paul;
Romans 2:12 "For all who have sinned without the Law will also perish without the Law, and all who have sinned in the Law will be judged by the Law. For it is not the hearers of the Law who are righteous before Elohim, but the doers of the Law who will be declared Righteous"

Paul;
Romans 3:20 "By the Law is the full knowledge of sin"

Paul;

Paul;

Romans 7:7 "What shall we say then? Is the Law sin? By no means!"

Paul;

Romans 6:1 "What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may increase? Elohim forbid, We died to sin, how can we live in it any longer?"

Paul;
Romans 3:31 "Do we then abolish the Law by this faith? Of course not! Instead, we uphold the Law"

Paul;
Romans 6:15 "What then? Shall we sin because we are not under the law but under grace? Elohim forbid. Don't you know that when you offer yourselves to someone to obey him as servants, you are servants to the one whom you obey, whether you are servants to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness?"

Paul;
Romans 7:12 "Therefore the Law is holy, and the commandments holy and righteous and good"

Paul;
Romans 7:22 "For I delight in the Law of Elohim according to the inward man"

Paul;
Romans 6:19 "For just as you once presented your members as slaves to uncleanness and to lawlessness, leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves to righteousness, leading to sanctification, For when you were slaves of sin, you were free from righteousness, But what fruit were you getting at that time from the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death, But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of Elohim, the fruit you get leads to sanctification, and its end, eternal life"

Paul;
Romans 8:6 "For to be 'of the flesh' minded is death, but to be 'spiritually' minded is life and peace, because the 'of the flesh' mind is hostile against Elohim for it is not subject to the Law of Elohim, nor indeed can be. Those who are in the flesh are not able to please Elohim"

Paul;
Romans 1:32 "Though they know the righteous statutes of Elohim that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them, but give approval to those who practice them"

Paul;
Romans 2:5 "But because of your hard and impenitent heart you are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath, when the righteous judgment of Elohim will be revealed. He will render to each one according to his works"

Paul;
Romans 2:17 "But if you call yourself a Jew and rely on the Law and boast in Elohim, and know his will and approve what is excellent because you are instructed from the Law, and if you are sure that you yourself are a guide to the blind, a light to those who are in darkness, an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of children, having in the Law the embodiment of knowledge and truth"

Paul;
Hebrews 10:10 "And By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of
Yahushua the Messiah once for all time. And every priest stands daily serving and offering repeatedly the same sacrifices which can never take away sins, but this man after he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of Elohim, from now on expecting until his enemies be made his footstool. For by one offering he has perfected forever them that are set apart, whereof the Holy Spirit also is a witness to us who says, 'This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says YHWH, I will write my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them, and their sins and iniquities will I remember no more'. Now where pardoning of these is, there is no more offering concerning sin"

Paul;
Hebrews 4:9 "So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of Elohim, for whoever has entered the rest of Elohim, has also rested from his works as Elohim did from his. Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience. For the word of Elohim is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart, and no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him, to whom we must give account"

Paul;
Romans 2:25 "For circumcision indeed does profit if you practice the Law, but if you transgress the Law your circumcision becomes uncircumcision. Therefore if the uncircumcision keeps the righteousness of the Law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision? Then the uncircumcision by nature who keeps the Law will condemn you who have the written code and circumcision but are a transgressor of the Law. For no one is a Jew who is merely one outwardly, nor is circumcision outward and physical, but a Jew is one inwardly and circumcision is a matter of the heart by the Spirit not by the letter, his praise is not from man but from Elohim"

Paul;
1 Timothy 1:5 "The purpose of the commandment is love that issues from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith. But some have strayed and have turned aside to vain foolish sayings, desiring to be teachers of the Law, not understanding either what they are saying, or the things about which they make confident assertions. But we know that the Law is good if one uses it lawfully"

1 John 2:1 "My little children I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin, but if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father,
Yahushua the Messiah, the righteous. He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world. And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments, whoever says 'I know him' but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him, but, whoever keeps his word in him truly the love of Elohim is perfected, by this we may know that we are in him, whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked"

1 John 3:4 "Whoever commits sin breaks also the Law, for sin is the breaking of the Law, and you know that
Yahushua was manifested to take away our sins and in him is no sin, whoever abides in Yahushua sins not, whosoever sins has not seen him neither have they known him. Little children let no man deceive you, he who does righteousness is righteous even as he is righteous, He who commits sin is of the Satan for the Satan sinned from the beginning, for this purpose the son of Elohim was manifested that he might destroy the works of the Satan. Whosoever is born of Elohim does not commit sin for his seed remains in him and he cannot sin because he is born of Elohim"

1 John 5:1 "Whosoever believes that
Yahushua is the Messiah is born of Elohim, and every one that loves the father loves also the sons of the father. Woe to them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight! Woe to them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink, Which declare righteous the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him! Therefore as the fire devours the stubble, and the flame consumes the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust, because they have cast away the Law of
YHWH of hosts and despised the word of the set-apart One of Yisrael"

Isaiah 66:22 "For as the new heavens and the new earth which I will make shall remain before me, says
YHWH, so shall your seed and your name remain, and it shall come to pass that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, says YHWH, and they shall go forth and look on the carcasses of the men that have transgressed against me, for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched, and they shall be a repulsion to all flesh"

But if any nation will not listen, then I will utterly pluck it up and destroy it, declares YHWH

YHWH and that person must be cut off from his people. Because he has despised YHWH's word and broken his commands, that person must surely be cut off, his guilt remains on him"

And he humbled you, and allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna, which you knew not, neither did your fathers know, that he might make you know that man does not live by bread only, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of YHWH does man live. Your clothing did not wear out on you and your foot did not swell these forty years. You shall also consider in your heart, that, as a man chastens his son, so YHWH your Elohim chastens you. Therefore you shall keep the commandments of YHWH your Elohim, to walk in his ways, and to fear him"

Psalm 119:1 "Blessed are those whose way is perfect, who walk in the law of
YHWH. Blessed are those who keep his testimonies, who seek him with their whole heart, who also do no wrong, but walk in his ways.  You have commanded your precepts to be kept diligently, Oh that my ways may be steadfast in keeping your statutes Then I shall not be put to shame, having my eyes fixed on all your commandments. I will praise you with an upright heart, when I learn your righteous rules. I will keep your statutes, do not utterly forsake me! How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word. With my whole heart I seek you, let me not wander from your commandments, I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you. Blessed are you O YHWH, teach me your statutes, With my lips have I declared all the judgments of your mouth. In the way of your testimonies I delight as much as in all riches. I will meditate on your precepts and fix my eyes on your ways. I will delight in your statutes, I will not forget your word. Deal bountifully with your servant, that I may live and keep your word. Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of your law. I am a stranger on the earth, hide not your commandments from me! Behold, I have allotted to you as an inheritance for your tribes those nations that remain, along with all the nations that I have already cut off, from the Jordan to the Great Sea in the west. YHWH your Elohim will push them back before you and drive them out of your sight, and you shall possess their land, just as YHWH your Elohim promised you. Therefore be very strong to keep and to do all that is written in the Book of the Law of Moses, turning aside from it neither to the right hand nor to the left, that you may not mix with these nations remaining among you or make mention of the names of their elohim, or swear by them or serve them or bow down to them, but you shall cleave to YHWH your Elohim just as you have done to this day, for YHWH has driven out before you great and strong nations, and as for you, no man has been able to stand before you to this day. But they would not listen, but were stubborn, as their fathers had been, who did not believe in YHWH their Elohim, and they rejected his statutes, and his covenant that he made with their fathers, and his testimonies which he testified against them and they followed vanity, and became vain, and went after the heathen that were round about them, concerning whom YHWH had charged them, that they should not do like them. But I acted for the sake of my name, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the nations, in whose sight I had brought them out. Moreover, I swore to them in the wilderness that I would not bring them into the land that I had given them, a land flowing with milk and honey, a beauty it is to all the lands, because they rejected my judgments and did not walk in my statutes, and polluted my Sabbaths; for their heart went after their idols. Nevertheless my eye had pity on them against destroying them, and I did not make an end of them in the wilderness. But I said to their children in the wilderness, Walk you not in the statutes of your fathers, neither observe their judgments, nor defile yourselves with their idols, I am
YHWH your Elohim, walk in my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them, And hallow my Sabbaths, and they shall be a sign between me and you, that you may know that I am YHWH your Elohim. But the children rebelled against me, they walked not in my statutes, neither kept my judgments to do them, which if a man do he shall live in them, they polluted my Sabbaths, then I said I would pour out my fury on them, to complete my anger against them in the wilderness, But I withheld my hand and acted for the sake of my name, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the nations, in whose sight I had brought them out. Moreover, I swore to them in the wilderness that I would scatter them among the nations and disperse them through the countries, Because they had not executed my judgments, but had despised my statutes, and had polluted my Sabbaths, and their eyes were after their fathers' idols. Therefore I gave them also statutes that were not good, and judgments by which they should not live, And I polluted them in their own gifts, in that they caused to pass through the fire all that opens the womb, that I might make them desolate, to the end that they might know that I am YHWH"

For such a thing were to act in opposition to the Law of Elohim which was spoken by Moses, and was borne witness to by our Lord
Yahushua Messiah in respect of its Eternal continuance, for thus he spoke saying "The heavens and the earth shall pass away, but one jot or one tittle shall in no way pass from the Law", And this He has said, that all things might come to pass. But these men, professing, I know not how to know my mind, undertake to explain my very own words which they have heard of me, more intelligently than I who spoke them, telling their listeners that this is my meaning.. which indeed I never thought of. But if while I am still alive they dare thus to misrepresent me, how much more will those who shall come after me dare to do so!"

Paul;
2 Thessalonians 2:1 "Now concerning the coming of our Lord
Yahushua Messiah and our being gathered together to him, we ask you, brothers not to be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed either by a spirit, or a spoken word, or a letter seeming to be from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. Let no one deceive you in any way, For that day will not come unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of Lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called elohim or object of worship so that he takes his seat in the temple of Elohim proclaiming himself to be Elohim. Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? And you know what is restraining him now so that he may be revealed in his time, For the mystery of Lawlessness is already at work, Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way, And then the Lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Yahushua will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming. The coming of the Lawless one is by the activity of the Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the Truth and so be saved. Therefore Elohim sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the Truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness"

Leviticus 26:14 "But if you will not listen to me, and will not do all these commandments, and if you shall despise my statutes, or if your soul loathes my judgments, so that you will not do all my commandments, but that you break my covenant, I also will do this to you, I will even appoint over you terror, the consumption and the burning fever, that shall consume the eyes and cause sorrow of heart, and you shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it. And I will set my face against you, and you shall be slain before your enemies, they that hate you shall reign over you, and you shall flee when none pursues you. And if you will not yet for all this listen to me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins, and I will break the pride of your power, and I will make your heavens as iron, and your earth as brass and your strength shall be spent in vain, for your land shall not yield her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits. And if you walk contrary to me and will not listen to me I will bring seven times more plagues on you according to your sins. I will also send wild beasts among you which shall rob you of your children and destroy your cattle and make you few in number, and your high ways shall be desolate. And if you will not be reformed by me by these things but will walk contrary to me, then will I also walk contrary to you, and will punish you yet seven times for your sins. And I will bring a sword on you that shall avenge the quarrel of my covenant, and when you are gathered together within your cities I will send the pestilence among you and you shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy, and when I have broken the staff of your bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven and they shall deliver you your bread again by weight, and you shall eat and not be satisfied. And if you will not for all this listen to me but walk contrary to me, then I will walk contrary to you also in fury, and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins. And you shall eat the flesh of your sons and the flesh of your daughters shall you eat, and I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your carcasses on the carcasses of your idols, and my soul shall loathe you, and I will make your cities waste, and bring your sanctuaries to desolation, and I will not smell the smell of your sweet odors, and I will bring the land into desolation, and your enemies which dwell therein shall be astonished at it, and I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you, and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste. Then shall the land enjoy her Sabbaths as long as it lies desolate and you be in your enemies' land, then shall the land rest and enjoy her Sabbaths as long as it lies desolate it shall rest, because it did not rest in your Sabbaths when you dwelled on it. And on them that are left alive of you I will send a faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies, and the sound of a shaken leaf shall chase them and they shall flee as fleeing from a sword, and they shall fall when none pursues, and they shall fall one on another as it were before a sword when none pursues, and you shall have no power to stand before your enemies, and you shall perish among the heathen, and the land of your enemies shall eat you up, and they that are left of you shall pine away in their iniquity in your enemies' lands, and also in the iniquities of their fathers shall they pine away with them. If they shall confess their iniquity and the iniquity of their fathers with their trespass which they trespassed against me, and that also they have walked contrary to me and that I also have walked contrary to them and have brought them into the land of their enemies, if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity, Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember, and I will remember the land, the land also shall be left of them, and shall enjoy her Sabbaths while she lies desolate without them, and they shall accept of the punishment of their iniquity because they despised my judgments and because their soul loathed my statutes. And yet for all that, when they be in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, neither will I loathe them to destroy them utterly and to break my covenant with them, for I am
YHWH their Elohim, but I will for their sakes remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the heathen, that I might be their Elohim. I am YHWH"

==========================================
I put this near last since it is a whole chapter that discusses the blessings of keeping his commandments and law and then discusses the curses for his people that do not keep his law and commandments. I am going to change the bible version that I used for this soon.;
Deuteronomy 28 "If you fully obey
YHWH your Elohim and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, YHWH your Elohim will set you high above all the nations on earth. All these blessings will come upon you and accompany you if you obey YHWH your Elohim:

You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country.

The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and the crops of your land and the young of your livestock—the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks.

Your basket and your kneading trough will be blessed.

You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out.

YHWH will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven.

 YHWH will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. YHWH your Elohim will bless you in the land he is giving you.

 YHWH will establish you as his holy people, as he promised you on oath, if you keep the commands of YHWH your Elohim and walk in his ways. Then all the peoples on earth will see that you are called by the name of YHWH, and they will fear you.  YHWH will grant you abundant prosperity—in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your ground—in the land he swore to your forefathers to give you.

 YHWH will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none.  YHWH will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of YHWH your Elohim that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom. Do not turn aside from any of the commands I give you today, to the right or to the left, following other elohim and serving them.

However, if you do not obey YHWH your Elohim and do not carefully follow all his commands and decrees I am giving you today, all these curses will come upon you and overtake you:

You will be cursed in the city and cursed in the country.

Your basket and your kneading trough will be cursed.

The fruit of your womb will be cursed, and the crops of your land, and the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks.

You will be cursed when you come in and cursed when you go out.

 YHWH will send on you curses, confusion and rebuke in everything you put your hand to, until you are destroyed and come to sudden ruin because of the evil you have done in forsaking him.  YHWH will plague you with diseases until he has destroyed you from the land you are entering to possess.  YHWH will strike you with wasting disease, with fever and inflammation, with scorching heat and drought, with blight and mildew, which will plague you until you perish. The sky over your head will be bronze, the ground beneath you iron.  YHWH will turn the rain of your country into dust and powder; it will come down from the skies until you are destroyed.

 YHWH will cause you to be defeated before your enemies. You will come at them from one direction but flee from them in seven, and you will become a thing of horror to all the kingdoms on earth. Your carcasses will be food for all the birds of the air and the beasts of the earth, and there will be no one to frighten them away.  YHWH will afflict you with the boils of Egypt and with tumors, festering sores and the itch, from which you cannot be cured.  YHWH will afflict you with madness, blindness and confusion of mind. At midday you will grope about like a blind man in the dark. You will be unsuccessful in everything you do; day after day you will be oppressed and robbed, with no one to rescue you.

You will be pledged to be married to a woman, but another will take her and lay with her. You will build a house, but you will not live in it. You will plant a vineyard, but you will not even begin to enjoy its fruit. Your ox will be slaughtered before your eyes, but you will eat none of it. Your donkey will be forcibly taken from you and will not be returned. Your sheep will be given to your enemies, and no one will rescue them. Your sons and daughters will be given to another nation, and you will wear out your eyes watching for them day after day, powerless to lift a hand. A people that you do not know will eat what your land and labor produce, and you will have nothing but cruel oppression all your days. The sights you see will drive you mad.  YHWH will afflict your knees and legs with painful boils that cannot be cured, spreading from the soles of your feet to the top of your head.

 YHWH will drive you and the king you set over you to a nation unknown to you or your fathers. There you will worship other elohim, elohim of wood and stone. You will become a thing of horror and an object of scorn and ridicule to all the nations where YHWH will drive you.

You will sow much seed in the field but you will harvest little, because locusts will devour it. You will plant vineyards and cultivate them but you will not drink the wine or gather the grapes, because worms will eat them. You will have olive trees throughout your country but you will not use the oil, because the olives will drop off. You will have sons and daughters but you will not keep them, because they will go into captivity. Swarms of locusts will take over all your trees and the crops of your land.

The stranger who lives among you will rise above you higher and higher, but you will sink lower and lower. He will lend to you, but you will not lend to him. He will be the head, but you will be the tail.

All these curses will come upon you. They will pursue you and overtake you until you are destroyed, because you did not obey YHWH your Elohim and observe the commands and decrees he gave you. They will be a sign and a wonder to you and your descendants forever. Because you did not serve YHWH your Elohim joyfully and gladly in the time of prosperity, therefore in hunger and thirst, in nakedness and dire poverty, you will serve the enemies YHWH sends against you. He will put an iron yoke on your neck until he has destroyed you.

 YHWH will bring a nation against you from far away, from the ends of the earth, like an eagle swooping down, a nation whose language you will not understand, a fierce-looking nation without respect for the old or pity for the young. They will devour the young of your livestock and the crops of your land until you are destroyed. They will leave you no grain, new wine or oil, nor any calves of your herds or lambs of your flocks until you are ruined. They will lay siege to all the cities throughout your land until the high fortified walls in which you trust fall down. They will besiege all the cities throughout the land YHWH your Elohim is giving you.

Because of the suffering that your enemy will inflict on you during the siege, you will eat the fruit of the womb, the flesh of the sons and daughters YHWH your Elohim has given you. Even the most gentle and sensitive man among you will have no compassion on his own brother or the wife he loves or his surviving children, and he will not give to one of them any of the flesh of his children that he is eating. It will be all he has left because of the suffering your enemy will inflict on you during the siege of all your cities. The most gentle and sensitive woman among you—so sensitive and gentle that she would not venture to touch the ground with the sole of her foot—will begrudge the husband she loves and her own son or daughter the afterbirth from her womb and the children she bears. For she intends to eat them secretly during the siege and in the distress that your enemy will inflict on you in your cities.

If you do not carefully follow all the words of this law, which are written in this book, and do not revere this glorious and awesome name—YHWH your Elohim—  YHWH will send fearful plagues on you and your descendants, harsh and prolonged disasters, and severe and lingering illnesses. He will bring upon you all the diseases of Egypt that you dreaded, and they will cling to you.  YHWH will also bring on you every kind of sickness and disaster not recorded in this Book of the Law, until you are destroyed. You who were as numerous as the stars in the sky will be left but few in number, because you did not obey YHWH your Elohim. Just as it pleased YHWH to make you prosper and increase in number, so it will please him to ruin and destroy you. You will be uprooted from the land you are entering to possess.

Then YHWH will scatter you among all nations, from one end of the earth to the other. There you will worship other elohim—elohim of wood and stone, which neither you nor your fathers have known. Among those nations you will find no repose, no resting place for the sole of your foot. There YHWH will give you an anxious mind, eyes weary with longing, and a despairing heart. You will live in constant suspense, filled with dread both night and day, never sure of your life. In the morning you will say, “If only it were evening!” and in the evening, “If only it were morning!”—because of the terror that will fill your hearts and the sights that your eyes will see.  YHWH will send you back in ships to Egypt on a journey I said you should never make again. There you will offer yourselves for sale to your enemies as male and female slaves, but no one will buy you"
==========================================
This is the longest chapter in the entire Bible and it is all about the Law of YHWH;

Psalm 119:1 "א. Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of
YHWH. Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart. They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways. You have commanded us to keep your precepts diligently. O that my ways were directed to keep your statutes! Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect to all your commandments. I will praise you with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned your righteous judgments. I will keep your statutes: O forsake me not utterly"

Psalm 119:9 "ב. Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to your word. With my whole heart have I sought you: O let me not wander from your commandments. Your word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against you. Blessed are you, O
YHWH: teach me your statutes. With my lips have I declared all the judgments of your mouth. I have rejoiced in the way of your testimonies, as much as in all riches. I will meditate in your precepts, and have respect to your ways. I will delight myself in your statutes: I will not forget your word"

Psalm 119:17 "ג. Deal bountifully with your servant, that I may live, and keep your word. Open you my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of your law. I am a stranger in the earth: hide not your commandments from me. My soul breaks for the longing that it has to your judgments at all times. You have rebuked the proud that are cursed, which do err from your commandments. Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept your testimonies. Princes also did sit and speak against me: but your servant did meditate in your statutes. Your testimonies also are my delight and my counsellors"

Psalm 119:25 "ד. My soul sticks to the dust: quicken you me according to your word. I have declared my ways, and you heard me: teach me your statutes. Make me to understand the way of your precepts: so shall I talk of your wondrous works. My soul melts for heaviness: strengthen you me according to your word. Remove from me the way of lying: and grant me your law graciously. I have chosen the way of truth: your judgments have I laid before me. I have stuck to your testimonies: O
YHWH, put me not to shame. I will run the way of your commandments, when you shall enlarge my heart"

Psalm 119:33 "ה. Teach me, O
YHWH, the way of your statutes; and I shall keep it to the end. Give me understanding, and I shall keep your law; yes, I shall observe it with my whole heart. Make me to go in the path of your commandments; for therein do I delight. Incline my heart to your testimonies, and not to covetousness. Turn away my eyes from beholding vanity; and quicken you me in your way. Establish your word to your servant, who is devoted to your fear. Turn away my reproach which I fear: for your judgments are good. Behold, I have longed after your precepts: quicken me in your righteousness"

Psalm 119:41 "ו. Let your mercies come also to me, O
YHWH, even your salvation, according to your word. So shall I have with which to answer him that reproaches me: for I trust in your word. And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in your judgments. So shall I keep your law continually for ever and ever. And I will walk at liberty: for I seek your precepts. I will speak of your testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed. And I will delight myself in your commandments, which I have loved. My hands also will I lift up to your commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in your statutes"

Psalm 119:49 "ז. Remember the word to your servant, on which you have caused me to hope. This is my comfort in my affliction: for your word has quickened me. The proud have had me greatly in derision: yet have I not declined from your law. I remembered your judgments of old, O
YHWH; and have comforted myself. Horror has taken hold on me because of the wicked that forsake your law. Your statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage. I have remembered your name, O YHWH, in the night, and have kept your law. This I had, because I kept your precepts"

Psalm 119:57 "ח. You are my portion, O
YHWH: I have said that I would keep your words. I entreated your favor with my whole heart: be merciful to me according to your word. I thought on my ways, and turned my feet to your testimonies. I made haste, and delayed not to keep your commandments. The bands of the wicked have robbed me: but I have not forgotten your law. At midnight I will rise to give thanks to you because of your righteous judgments. I am a companion of all them that fear you, and of them that keep your precepts. The earth, O YHWH, is full of your mercy: teach me your statutes"

Psalm 119:65 "ט. You have dealt well with your servant, O
YHWH, according to your word. Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed your commandments. Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept your word. You are good, and do good; teach me your statutes. The proud have forged a lie against me: but I will keep your precepts with my whole heart. Their heart is as fat as grease; but I delight in your law. It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn your statutes. The law of your mouth is better to me than thousands of gold and silver"

Psalm 119:73 "י. Your hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, that I may learn your commandments. They that fear you will be glad when they see me; because I have hoped in your word. I know, O
YHWH, that your judgments are right, and that you in faithfulness have afflicted me. Let, I pray you, your merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to your word to your servant. Let your tender mercies come to me, that I may live: for your law is my delight. Let the proud be ashamed; for they dealt perversely with me without a cause: but I will meditate in your precepts. Let those that fear you turn to me, and those that have known your testimonies. Let my heart be sound in your statutes; that I be not ashamed"

Psalm 119:81 "כ. My soul faints for your salvation: but I hope in your word. My eyes fail for your word, saying, When will you comfort me? For I am become like a bottle in the smoke; yet do I not forget your statutes. How many are the days of your servant? when will you execute judgment on them that persecute me? The proud have dug pits for me, which are not after your law. All your commandments are faithful: they persecute me wrongfully; help you me. They had almost consumed me on earth; but I forsook not your precepts. Quicken me after your loving kindness; so shall I keep the testimony of your mouth"

Psalm 119:89 "ל. For ever, O
YHWH, your word is settled in the heavens. Your faithfulness is to all generations: you have established the earth, and it stays. They continue this day according to your ordinances: for all are your servants. Unless your law had been my delights, I should then have perished in my affliction. I will never forget your precepts: for with them you have quickened me. I am yours, save me: for I have sought your precepts. The wicked have waited for me to destroy me: but I will consider your testimonies. I have seen an end of all perfection: but your commandment is exceeding broad"

Psalm 119:97 "מ. O how I love your law! it is my meditation all the day. You through your commandments have made me wiser than my enemies: for they are ever with me. I have more understanding than all my teachers: for your testimonies are my meditation. I understand more than the ancients, because I keep your precepts. I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep your word. I have not departed from your judgments: for you have taught me. How sweet are your words to my taste! yes, sweeter than honey to my mouth! Through your precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way"

Psalm 119:105 "נ. Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path. I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep your righteous judgments. I am afflicted very much: quicken me, O
YHWH, according to your word. Accept, I beseech you, the freewill offerings of my mouth, O YHWH, and teach me your judgments. My soul is continually in my hand: yet do I not forget your law. The wicked have laid a snare for me: yet I erred not from your precepts. Your testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart. I have inclined my heart to perform your statutes always, even to the end"

Psalm 119:113 "ס. I hate vain thoughts: but your law do I love. You are my hiding place and my shield: I hope in your word. Depart from me, you evildoers: for I will keep the commandments of my Elohim. Uphold me according to your word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope. Hold you me up, and I shall be safe: and I will have respect to your statutes continually. You have trodden down all them that err from your statutes: for their deceit is falsehood. You put away all the wicked of the earth like dross: therefore I love your testimonies. My flesh trembles for fear of you; and I am afraid of your judgments"

Psalm 119:121 "ע. I have done judgment and justice: leave me not to my oppressors. Be surety for your servant for good: let not the proud oppress me. My eyes fail for your salvation, and for the word of your righteousness. Deal with your servant according to your mercy, and teach me your statutes. I am your servant; give me understanding, that I may know your testimonies. It is time for you,
YHWH, to work: for they have made void your law. Therefore I love your commandments above gold; yes, above fine gold. Therefore I esteem all your precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way"

Psalms 119:129 "פ. Your testimonies are wonderful: therefore does my soul keep them. The entrance of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple. I opened my mouth, and panted: for I longed for your commandments. Look you on me, and be merciful to me, as you use to do to those that love your name. Order my steps in your word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me. Deliver me from the oppression of man: so will I keep your precepts. Make your face to shine on your servant; and teach me your statutes. Rivers of waters run down my eyes, because they keep not your law"

Psalm 119:137 "צ. Righteous are you, O
YHWH, and upright are your judgments. Your testimonies that you have commanded are righteous and very faithful. My zeal has consumed me, because my enemies have forgotten your words. Your word is very pure: therefore your servant loves it. I am small and despised: yet do not I forget your precepts. Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and your law is the truth. Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me: yet your commandments are my delights. The righteousness of your testimonies is everlasting: give me understanding, and I shall live"

Psalm 119:145 "ק. I cried with my whole heart; hear me, O
YHWH: I will keep your statutes. I cried to you; save me, and I shall keep your testimonies. I prevented the dawning of the morning, and cried: I hoped in your word. My eyes prevent the night watches, that I might meditate in your word. Hear my voice according to your loving kindness: O YHWH, quicken me according to your judgment. They draw near that follow after mischief: they are far from your law. You are near, O YHWH; and all your commandments are truth. Concerning your testimonies, I have known of old that you have founded them for ever"

Psalm 119:153 "ר. Consider my affliction, and deliver me: for I do not forget your law. Plead my cause, and deliver me: quicken me according to your word. Salvation is far from the wicked: for they seek not your statutes. Great are your tender mercies, O
YHWH: quicken me according to your judgments. Many are my persecutors and my enemies; yet do I not decline from your testimonies. I beheld the transgressors, and was grieved; because they kept not your word. Consider how I love your precepts: quicken me, O YHWH, according to your loving kindness. Your word is true from the beginning: and every one of your righteous judgments endures for ever"

Psalm 119:161 "ש. Princes have persecuted me without a cause: but my heart stands in awe of your word. I rejoice at your word, as one that finds great spoil. I hate and loathe lying: but your law do I love. Seven times a day do I praise you because of your righteous judgments. Great peace have they which love your law: and nothing shall offend them.
YHWH, I have hoped for your salvation, and done your commandments. My soul has kept your testimonies; and I love them exceedingly. I have kept your precepts and your testimonies: for all my ways are before you"

Psalm 119:169 "ת. Let my cry come near before you, O
YHWH: give me understanding according to your word. Let my supplication come before you: deliver me according to your word. My lips shall utter praise, when you have taught me your statutes. My tongue shall speak of your word: for all your commandments are righteousness. Let your hand help me; for I have chosen your precepts. I have longed for your salvation, O YHWH; and your law is my delight. Let my soul live, and it shall praise you; and let your judgments help me. I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek your servant; for I do not forget your commandments"
