John 5:14 "Afterward Yahushua found him in the temple, and said to him, See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you"
John 8:34 "Yahushua answered them, Most assuredly I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin, And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever"
Romans 6:16 "Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?"
Romans 6:20 "For when you were slaves of sin, you were free from righteousness"
Ecclesiastes 9:18 "Wisdom is better than weapons of war, but one sinner destroys much good"
Let's get right to the point. Please take this information to heart.
It's critically important to know what sin is, it is talked about repeatedly in the Bible, and if you do not know what it is, then you are not really understanding what is being said and the context, you will miss the actual weight of what is really being said concerning it.
The wicked ones have managed to blind the world to the truth, and I plead with you to seek to understand how they've accomplished this and what is going on, to see they've indeed hidden the truth in plain site.
What is sin?
Sin is breaking a commandment of YHWH, it is transgression of the Law of YHWH.
From this point alone you can easily see modern Christianity is teaching lies of the satan by claiming the Law is abolished and by claiming you're free to break the Law.
The Messiah died to pardon your sins(Transgressions of the Law), he did not die to delete and undo his Father's word, and make it to where you can live by the flesh and sin freely all you want no longer feeling shame and guilt for sinning!
The world is telling us the same lie as in the beginning! Do not follow the world, follow and listen to YHWH!;
Genesis 3:4 "And the serpent said to the woman, You shall not surely die"
Disobeying the Law of YHWH, is sin.
That is what sin is.
Here is a testimony from 2 separate New Testament witnesses,
the Apostle Paul, and the Disciple John;
Romans 3:20 "By the Law is the full knowledge of sin"
1 John 3:4 "For sin is the breaking of the Law"
If you read the entire Bible from start to finish, you'll not find anything in it saying that sin is anything other than disobeying YHWH.
The meaning of the word sin in the Hebrew itself shows us that it's about obeying and staying on the mark.
From the scriptures you will learn that sin is disobeying YHWH,
nothing more, nothing less, and yet the average person within the denominations today has no idea what sin is.
For the average person they're only going on the various things that the world has led them to believe are sin, and personal feelings, which too often are not accurate, and these ideas of what is right and wrong even vary greatly from region to region based on the world views and thoughts and traditions of men.
That is an obvious indicator that what they're doing is not of truth, the truth is solid and does not change, we all have the same mark to try and hit, right and wrong does not change just because a man desires to change the truth that YHWH formed, man can not undo what YHWH has done.
People are making up sins as they go, claiming things are sin when they're not, while at the same time never teaching about the real sins.
If they did ever teach what sin was, most would condemn themselves, and if they brought to light what sin really is they would cause power to be taken away from the things that they had been falsely claiming were sin, since you could easily look to see if what they said was true or not.
(You CAN easily look to see if what they say is true or not.)
In fact, making up sins like this, is sin!
We have been commanded to not add to, or take away from, the Law of YHWH and what he has told us is required of man.
Deuteronomy 4:2 "You shall not add to the word which I am commanding you, nor take away from it, that you may keep the commandments of YHWH your Elohim which I command you"
And, it is also false judgment to judge someone as good or bad by a law that is not YHWH's Law!
Beware lest your false judgment comes back on you to destroy you at your final judgment!;
Matthew 7:2 "For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you"
The Messiah has told us to judge with righteous judgment!;
John 7:24 "Do not judge by appearances, but judge with righteous judgment”
When you make up a "sin", you're adding to his Law and instructions, and, you're wickedly judging others when you try to put others under that or harass them with it.
We can see in the Bible men doing this and we learn they were being wicked and foolish. An example is the Pharisees who in severe blindness created many commandments of men and tried to rebuke others for breaking their own commandments and tried to put others under the commands of men while at the same time breaking the actual commands of YHWH.
Mark 7:8 "You leave the commandment of Elohim and hold to the tradition of men"
Mark 7:9 "You have a fine way of rejecting the commandment of Elohim in order to establish your tradition!"
Mark 7:13 "Thus making void the word of Elohim by your tradition that you have handed down, and many such things you do"
Men are creating burdens that are not actually required, and they're bearing false witness on the good path that we should walk in, when they cause others to think that path is burdensome when it's not.
The blind denominations make up their own commandments and put others under them, and burden them, and when people are struggling to keep the man-made laws, because they may not even be natural, which didn't come from YHWH and are not even real requirements, when they struggle with them they start to think they're failing at being good, and may get discouraged, and quit trying to walk the good path and stop interacting with YHWH, and slip into darkness.
Wicked judgment is when we do not judge according to YHWH's Word, and in rebuking others for your own made up ways is setting yourself up as an elohim, when you're not.
YHWH is our lawgiver.
James 4:11 "But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge, there is only 1 lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destroy, but who are you to judge your neighbor?"
Repent quickly from such things, for you do not want that to come back on you, because if you're judged by the wicked judgments of man, you don't stand a chance because no one can live up to man's bitter, wicked, cold, illogical, hypocritical, blind, and unrealistic, standards.
Now, many modern Christians may regularly see in the New Testament we are told to stop sinning, and even to stop sinning or else we will perish, but.. how can one stop sinning unless they have the knowledge of what sin is?!
How do you repent and turn away from doing something when you don't even know what you are repenting from?
The answer is that you can not.
Realize if you don't know what sin is, you've yet to truly and fully repent. Do not deceive yourself by going by your own ideas of right and wrong, or by another man's personal ideas of right and wrong.
Numerous people are being baptized daily, yet the Bible tells us the 1st step is to repent, then be baptized.
The controlling denominations of the world are blurring and leaving out the crucial 1st step of the process!
Acts 2:38 "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Yahushua the Messiah for the pardoning of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit"
Acts 3:19 "Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out"
Acts 17:30 "Truly, these times of ignorance Elohim overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent"
Mark 1:14 "Yahushua came to Galilee preaching the gospel of the kingdom of Elohim, and saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of Elohim is at hand, repent, and believe in the gospel"
So, where is this detailed listing of what sin is?
In the "new testament", the apostle Paul for example will say things that we must not do, that are not mentioned anywhere else inside of the New Testament, as if the listener should already know it, so then ask yourself, how are we supposed to know it?
Further to realize, the letters of Paul were not even available for all people to read like they are now, and his letters were written for specific groups of people for them to read.
The titles of his letters, are who they were sent to.
Again an important thing to realize that I want to make mention of here, if you do not know right from wrong, good from bad, how can you judge the fruit of others to test them, to know if their fruit is good or bad?
If you do not learn good from bad, you may be among and following an unhealthy bad tree, and indeed this is the state of the world, the world does not have eyes to see good men from bad men.
Matthew 7:15 "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus you will recognize them by their fruits"
The unhealthy diseased trees of the world bearing bad fruit today have taught that their fruit is good and wonderful, and that the healthy trees fruit is bad and offensive, so that the world actually looks at the bad trees as holy and righteous and may despise the healthy trees when they produce good fruit.
Isaiah 5:20 "Woe to them that call evil good, and good evil, that put darkness for light, and light for darkness, that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe to them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight! Woe to them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink, Which declare righteous the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him! Therefore as the fire devours the stubble, and the flame consumes the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust, because they have cast away the Law of YHWH of hosts and despised the word of the set-apart One of Yisrael"
Let us go back to the beginning now.
In the Bible, the very first people Adam and Eve were given only 1 commandment, and that was to not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
They however disobeyed YHWH and did eat from it, and this was the fall of man where sin(and death) entered the world.
The apostle Paul speaks on this;
Romans 5:12 "Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned, for sin indeed was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not counted where there is no law"
So Paul shares that disobeying YHWH and eating from the forbidden fruit was the first sin.
Also he even says that if there was no commandment, then the sins were not counted, because of course if YHWH had not given to us what sin was then we would not know and we would not be held accountable(however now we have been given this knowledge and those who do not know it are in ignorance from choice and neglect of care).
It took man sinning only once for YHWH to curse them with death, and cut them off from his presence.
He warned Adam and Eve, and he is faithful to do what he says he will do.
(You can take comfort in the fact that he is faithful, or fear, depending on how you choose to live out the rest of this life he has given to you. Do the right thing!)
Here is another verse from Paul;
1 Corinthians 15:55 "O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting? For sin is the sting that results in death, and the Law gives sin its power, but thanks be to Elohim, who gives us the victory through our Lord Yahushua Messiah"
So with this being said, Paul confirms sin is from us breaking the Law and commandments, and the curse of death from YHWH is from sinning.
In the Hebrew, the word that our English word sin has been translated from, means "an offence", which if you look in an English dictionary, offence means "a violation or breach of a law, custom, rule, etc..".
The word sin means to disobey, and to miss the mark, when you hear sin you should think of transgressing and doing wrong.
Allow me to take a moment to mention a note about the verse I shared above.
Some may twist that verse like they do with others, and take it out of context, and I want to make sure you're not carrying any of those misconceptions, so that you can focus on what I am sharing on this page about sin.
Some false teachers may misunderstand and twist the above verse to say it means the Law is abolished by the Messiah, but that is not true, and does not fit to the context!
What it really says is that we've been saved from death, the death that we deserve, we deserve it because we have all sinned.
Our debts have been forgiven us.
Our transgressions, and the Law, are 2 different things.
We are saved from transgressions, not saved from the Law.
That wouldn't even make sense, and you will not find such a statement saying that from the Bible, but only from men.
Why would we need saved from the Word of YHWH? It is life to us and a blessing.
It's important to read in context, so that you do not make the same mistakes as the false teachers who are ruling over denominations of men.
They turn a blind eye to the teachings and what all is being said, to only see certain statements, and then misunderstand them to be saying things they're not.
Yahushua was given for us, for the forgiveness of our sins against YHWH, this however does not mean we can continue to sin and that we are now free to break the Law, and to sin as we please.
If you actually read the Bible, you will see it is actually obvious that it does not teach to break the Law as wicked men are claiming, and the sacrifice of the Messiah would have been for nothing for us if we just kept sinning, because he was sent to save us from those sins yet we went right back to them or never even ceased from them.
Yahushua saved us from the curse of the Law.
The curse of the Law is death.
Death is the curse of the Law when you have broken it.
Now, you should be able to see now that sin is disobeying YHWH.
There are many other points and scriptures that will show you that as well.
There are even scriptures that plainly answer the question that one may have of how do we gain the knowledge of sin so that we can avoid doing it, even inside of the New Testament!;
Romans 3:20 "By the law is the full knowledge of sin"
Romans 7:7 "I had not known sin but by the law"
Paul clearly says that the full knowledge of sin is found in the Law of YHWH!
Again, he said, the FULL knowledge.
Not only does this answer the question of how do we know what sin is so that we can learn to stop doing it,
but it also destroys the misconception being taught that the Law is only for certain people, since even those who may not know what sin is, often do know that no man is permitted to sin, and Paul with clear words said we know all sin by the Law of YHWH.
(For this reason this point intertwines with the "the law was for all" misconception page, so keep this in mind as well for the topic of the Law being relevant to all people and not just the biological children of Yisrael.)
Now, if it wasn't obvious enough already for you, the disciple John also in clear words inside of the New Testament comes out and says sin is disobeying the Law of YHWH;
1 John 3:4 "Whoever commits sin breaks also the Law, for sin is the breaking of the Law, and you know that Yahushua was manifested to take away our sins and in him is no sin, no one who abides in him keeps on sinning, no one who keeps on sinning has either seen him or known him. Little children let no man deceive you, he who does righteousness is righteous even as Yahushua is righteous, He who commits sin is of the satan for the satan sinned from the beginning, for this purpose the son of Elohim was manifested that he might destroy the works of the Satan. Whosoever is born of Elohim does not commit sin for his seed remains in him and he cannot sin because he is born of Elohim"
Let's focus in on the statements he made, and make this even easier to grasp, since now you can see this will not be out of context!;
1 John 3:4 "For sin is the breaking of the Law"
1 John 3:8 "He who commits sin is of the satan for the satan sinned from the beginning"
1 John 3:6 "No one who abides in him keeps on sinning, no one who keeps on sinning has either seen him or known him"
1 John 3:7 "Little children let no man deceive you, he who does righteousness is righteous even as Yahushua is righteous"
John has clearly told you here, that those who commit transgression of the Law are of the satan!
These words should stir your heart up to realize that modern Christianity is indeed a false gimmick that is trying to transform everyone to be of the satan, and not really following the Bible.
These Bible verses I have shared to you here, are not my own words, it is according to John the disciple/apostle of Yahushua the Messiah here, that the men teaching lawlessness(sinning) do not even know the Messiah, the one they're claiming to follow and be servants of.
They are said to not even know the Messiah, and let's recall what the Messiah has said about him not knowing certain people;
Matthew 7:21 "And then will I say to them, I never knew you, depart from me you that work lawlessness"
Open your eyes and heart! Humble yourself right now before Elohim the Father, and you will be able to see the truth, and see that all of the scriptures are fully consistent with what I have shared with you.
Now, as the Messiah has said before, sin no more!
John 3:36 "Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of Elohim remains on him"
John 8:11 "She said, No one master, And Yahushua said, Neither do I condemn you, go and sin by no means any longer"
The claims that the Law is abolished are false, and do not line up with the scriptures in any way.
If there is no Law, then we can not be sinners.
When congregations claim the Law is abolished, then turn around and talk about sinners, they're confused and contradictory.
Sin still exists up until the end, and those who practice it will face the judgment of the Messiah. You have been thoroughly warned, and have been blessed with this knowledge so that you can step into the light and be blessed always if you heed YHWH's Word.
Since you truly know what sin is now, and that sin is going against the commandments of YHWH our Father, look at what the apostle Paul has said about continuing in sin/lawlessness;
Hebrews 10:26 "For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins"
If we continue disobeying YHWH deliberately, we are no longer pardoned from our former sins/transgressions through the blood of Yahushua the Messiah!
This is what the Bible says, not I, yet if you was to run out and try to warn modern Christians about this, and tell them they're not part of the new covenant if they refuse and despise the Law, you will be greatly attacked and verbally abused.
False leaders over congregations will speak badly of you, reject you, and lead others into doing the same, even though the words in your mouth are the Bible's, not your own.
The congregations of the world are somehow oblivious to the fact that the Bible is not welcome among them, and they even hate it, spiritually wanting to stone those who speak the Truth of Elohim and try to turn them back from following false shepherds.
Their false leaders are telling them that our faith in the Messiah, basically just saying we believe he is the Messiah, abolishes the Law of YHWH.
They will claim that Paul also teaches the crooked things that they're saying, however here is what Paul and the Bible proclaim to us;
Romans 3:31 "Do we then abolish the Law by this faith? Of course not! Instead, we uphold the law"
So, if we asked Paul, do we abolish the Law by this faith? His response is along the lines of, "Of course not!".
In contrast, if you ask a modern Christian the same question, do we abolish the Law by this faith? Their response is along the lines of "Of course!".
Hear the words of the Bible, do not let the teachings of serpents lead you astray into sinning without restraint, otherwise there no longer remains a sacrifice for your sins!
Isaiah 66:22 "For as the new heavens and the new earth which I will make shall remain before me, says YHWH, so shall your seed and your name remain, and it shall come to pass that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, says YHWH, and they shall go forth and look on the carcasses of the men that have transgressed against me, for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched, and they shall be a repulsion to all flesh"
The Apostle Paul clarified to us that he is not saying the Law is abolished, so that we don't misunderstand him, so that we do not take his words out of context.
I am telling you to seriously beware, because the world is ignoring and looking over such verses, trying to clip out the instances where Paul clarifies such things helping to keep everyone understanding in context.
We've been given warnings from the Disciple Peter, that Paul can be hard to understand, and for us to not be led astray by lawless people twisting Paul's words!
Yet men today are carelessly ignoring these verses, as if they don't exist.
2 Peter 3:15 "Even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him has written to you, as also in all of his letters, speaking in them of these things which are some hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable twist as they do also the other scriptures to their own destruction.
You therefore beloved seeing you know these things before hand, beware for fear you also are led away with the error of the lawless and fall from your own steadfastness"
If you've read the Bible properly, fully in context, you would have already known the Messiah would not do away with the Law, and you would already know the new covenant does not abolish the Law.
YHWH reveals what he is going to do to his people before hand, and it was never said that he would abolish the law, but rather the opposite! It was never said the coming Messiah would abolish the Law, but the opposite!
The new covenant was revealed to YHWH's people before the Messiah actually came, this was something his people were waiting on to be fulfilled.
The new covenant is not a lawless covenant, it even says right in it.
Wouldn't you think that one has to know a covenant, to truly be able to take part in it, and keep it?
Modern Christians who speak a lot about "the new covenant", continually show that they're not even aware of what the new covenant is.
Feel free to test those around you with what the new covenant is, and see if they tell you accurately, or if they word it wrong, falsely declaring it to be something it's not.
Also see if they even know that it is in the Bible before the Messiah, and if they can take you to it.
This is the new covenant;
Jeremiah 31:31 "Behold the days come, says YHWH, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Yisrael and with the house of Yahuda, not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt which my covenant they broke although I was a husband to them, says YHWH, But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Yisrael after those days, says YHWH, I will put my Law in their inward parts and write it in their hearts and will be their Elohim, and they shall be my people. And they shall no more teach every man his neighbor and every man his brother saying, Know YHWH, for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says YHWH, for I will forgive their iniquity and I will remember their sin no more"
Beloved friends, a person such as a "pastor" has no power to save you, they're just a normal human, like you, not perfect or unable to make mistakes.
They're not really on a higher authority than you, but are a fellow brother to you.
False leaders often try to claim they're over us, but they're going against the Bible and the very words of the Messiah if they do that.
They're trying to put themselves in a higher class, as if they're some sort of special priest class, but they're actually just trying to forcefully take what was not given to them, and they are not over us in authority.
No matter how many times the false teachers try to convince you that you're "saved" simply from coming to their congregation buildings and being an obedient member to their teachings and rules, it's vanity and dangerous if it has nothing to do with the truth, and a waste of valuable time.
Follow the scriptures that have been given to you, you have them at your fingertips, if you don't have them, seek them, if you still can't obtain them, contact me and I will get them to you.
Follow YHWH and his Messiah, not confused men that are unknowingly being workers of the satan.
Acts 5:29 "Then Peter and the apostles said, it is necessary to obey Elohim rather than men"
Colossians 2:8 "See that no one shall carry you away as spoil through philosophy and vain deceit, according to the tradition of men"
2 Corinthians 11:14 "And no wonder, for the satan transforms himself as an angel of light, it is not a great matter if also his servants transforms themselves as dispensers of righteousness, those whose end shall be according to their works"
2 Timothy 4:3 "The time will come when men will not tolerate true teachings. Instead, in accord with their own desires they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear, and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and shall be turned aside unto myths"
Jeremiah 50:6 "My people have been lost sheep, their shepherds have caused them to go astray"
Matthew 15:14 "They are blind guides, and if the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit"
2 Peter 3:17 "Therefore beloved seeing you know these things before hand, beware for fear you also are led away with the error of the lawless and fall from your own steadfastness"
Everything below here is under construction and I just threw it together quickly, I will clean it up later and also list more scriptures linking lawlessness and disobeying YHWH.
Romans 5:12 "Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned, for sin indeed was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not counted where there is no law"
Romans 2:12 "For all who have sinned without the Law will also perish without the Law, and all who have sinned in the Law will be judged by the Law. For it is not the hearers of the Law who are righteous before Elohim, but the doers of the Law who will be declared Righteous"
Romans 6:1 "What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may increase? Elohim forbid, We died to sin, how can we live in it any longer?"
Romans 3:31 "Do we then abolish the law by this faith? Of course not! Instead, we uphold the law"
Romans 6:15 "What then? Shall we sin because we are not under the law but under grace? Elohim forbid. Don't you know that when you offer yourselves to someone to obey him as servants, you are servants to the one whom you obey, whether you are servants to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness?"
Romans 7:12 "Therefore the Law is holy, and the commandments holy and righteous and good"
Romans 8:6 "For to be 'of the flesh' minded is death, but to be 'spiritually' minded is life and peace because the 'of the flesh' mind is hostile against Elohim for it is not subject to the Law of Elohim, nor indeed can be. Those who are in the flesh are not able to please Elohim"
Romans 1:32 "Though they know the righteous statutes of Elohim that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them, but give approval to those who practice them"
2 Corinthians 6:14 "Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and Lawlessness have in common? What fellowship can Light have with Darkness?"
Ezekiel 18:4 "Behold all souls are mine, as the soul of the father so also the soul of the son is mine, the soul that sins it shall die, but if man be righteous and do that which is lawful and right and has not eaten upon the mountains neither has lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Yisrael, neither has defiled his neighbors wife, neither has come near to a menstruous woman and has not oppressed any but has restored to the debtor his pledge, and has spoiled none by violence, has given his bread to the hungry and has covered the naked with a garment, he has not lended forth for interest, neither has taken any increase, and has withdrawn his hand from evil, and has executed true judgment between man and man, and has walked in my statutes and has kept my law to deal truly, he IS RIGHTEOUS and he shall surely live says Lord YHWH"
Ezekiel 18:21 "But if the wicked will REPENT from all his sins that he has committed and keep all my commandments and do that which is LAWFUL and right, he shall surely live he shall not die, all of his transgressions that he has committed they shall BE FORGOTTEN in his righteousness that he has done he shall live"
Ezekiel 18:24 "But when the righteous man repents from his righteousness and commits evil and does according to all the abominations that the wicked man does, shall he live? All of his righteousness that he has done will BE FORGOTTEN in his trespass that he has trespassed and in his sin that he has sinned, in them shall he die"
Ezekiel 18:27 " Again, when the wicked man REPENTS from his wickedness that he has committed and does that which is LAWFUL and right, he shall save his soul alive"
Psalm 37:30 "The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom, and his tongue talks of judgment, the Law of his Elohim is in his heart, his steps do not slide"
Most Christians know the Messiah redeemed us from our former sins, here Paul clearly says the sacrifice of the Son of YHWH was for pardoning of lawlessness, showing yet again lawlessness and sin is the same thing;
Titus 2:14 "Yahushua the Messiah, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works"
